   There is a gap in how traditional education approaches STEM education. It is often to heavy on theory and light on engagement. We created Skylab STEM out of a deep passion for inspiring the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers. We wanted to create a space where kids could experience science firsthand through exploration and play.

   We believe that early exposure to STEM in a fun, low-pressure environment, can build confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking skills. Plus, lab was the best part of science class. We remember how hands-on learning excited us and we see how it excites young minds and we want to bring that excitement to more children, especially those who might not see themselves as “science kids.”
